The Megr Dastgir Group comprises 7 operating companies in seven business sectors: information technology; textile; leather; insurance services; trading; cargo; and spinning. Mr. Imam Buksh founded the Group in 1860's. Consequently, Mr. Imam Buksh and those who followed him aligned business opportunities with hard work and honesty, which are still the most prominent qualities of the group. This approach remains enshrined in the Group's ethos to this day.
The Mehr Dastgir Group is one of Pakistan's largest and most respected business conglomerates. Mehr Dastgir companies together employ some 1600 people.
